This past weekend we had the privilege of delivering “Care Packages” to our Food Bank Customers and others that needed to know that we care. It was really special to see the joy and appreciation on the faces of people as they received a large bag of necessities that included toilet paper, paper towels, rice, beans, pasta, sauce, some potatoes and a loaf of bread. A big thank you to the Green Vegetarian Cuisine crew at the Alon for their help in preparing these “Care Packages,” and to the many who helped with delivering them. However, most importantly we want to say thank you to those that received the Care Packages. It was a privilege to share with you.
I want to encourage you to look to Jesus. He will sustain you through these tough times. As God tells us through David the Psalmist: The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (acknowledge/trust/respect) Him, and delivers them. Psalms 34:7
Thank you, Jesus, for your promise to protect your people. Please bring comfort to those that are struggling because they are afraid of the virus. Please protect those who are ministering to the needs of those that are sick and suffering. Please bring healing to those who are ill with the virus. Most importantly please help us to realize your coming is soon and accept you as Savior and Lord of our Life. In Jesus name, Amen.
